Auger Boring is a great solution for inserting pipes under roads and footpaths. Similar to HDD Drilling there is no need for open excavation of the site.

Why use HDD Drilling to install pipes?
HDD Drilling saves you a great deal of time when it comes to installing underground pipes and services. The fact that you can install these pipes into the ground without having to create open excavations does a number of things:
Saves on traffic disruption – You don’t have to dig up the road, divert traffic or pedestrians when we come to your site. We create two pits, one at each end of the site to house our machinery and simply direct the drill head under ground from one pit to the other then pull the pipe back through the hole.
Cost – Cost is always a concern with any job. The fact that Bóthar Drilling can go on site and not have to worry about traffic delays or special permits to stop traffic, we can go ahead and get the job done. This method is much quicker than traditional methods of excavation which in turn keep the costs lower.
Efficiency – The ability to steer the machine under the ground means we can run lengths of pipe around existing services which traditionally would have required deep excavation and additional companies on site. This also helps keep the cost down significantly.
